For someone who did time in the army, you show amazing insight. The ability to identify a shotgun, especially when surrounded by cartridges is truly inspiring to all who seek employment of this nature. Did they teach you which end to hold?
Unfortunately, your identification of the model and even make is very wide of the mark. Whilst Remington shotguns are indeed in widespread use around the world, especially by US forces, this is not one of them. I would hope the rather modern, fashionable look would identify the country at least.
I didn't ask what was missing, but what was unusual about this particular shotgun. Clearly, a dead body is missing, but whether it should contain a hole would depend on the type of ammunition used and the engagement distance.

I think it's Remington Shotgun also known as the 'Frenchie', but I could be wrong.
What is missing is a dead body with some sort of big hole in it.

I don't know what it is but I'll speak to my mate Big Vern.
Nope, wrong again. Completely the wrong weapon for Big Vern. He always used a sawn-off.
